Platinum Grit is the collaborative effort of: Trudy Cooper, artist and co-writer with Danny Murphy.
Away from Grit, Trudy is an illustrator and designer, Danny is an actor and a writer. We BOTH reside in Australia.
Q. When did Platinum Grit start?
Platinum Grit began as a self-published printed comic from back in 1994 and was released up to issue 10 in 1998. A single story predated this in 1993 in an anthology called Issue One. It bore only a vague resemblance to the characters and the story that began anew in episode 1 and won't be reprinted.
Q. Are the original print editions still available?
Issues 1,2,7 and 8 are now out of print, but the others are still available from www.phasetwocomics.com . Otherwise everything is now being reprinted in trade paperbacks.
